Overview of publishers and journals with memberships, discounts and other special conditions
Some publishers grant special conditions for Open Access Publications as parts of membership or licensing agreements to the corresponding authors of the University of Würzburg. We will be happy to help you with questions on details and requirements for these special conditions.
The university board is introducing a new funding model for open access publications starting in 2024. Authors are to participate financially in the costs of the OA option for hybrid journals with a transformation contract. This also applies if the authors have chosen the opt-out option for these articles. This will concern all articles that are accepted for publication by the publisher from 01.01.2024. As soon as it has been clarified for which publishers a transformation contract will be concluded and under which conditions, more detailed information will be announced here.
