Apply for database access
Members of the University of Würzburg can apply for database access limited to 30 days. This requires a valid JMU Card and separate registration for LSEG use via a form. This account is for personal use only. The number of available user licences is limited, so there may be waiting times. The provider also limits access to 10 million data points per month and account. After 30 days, you can apply for a new licence using the form below.
How can I use the database?
There are basically two ways to access Workspace/Datastream:
- Web access: Online access can be used after individual activation by Würzburg University Library.
- Installation solution: Installation on private end devices is possible, but we cannot provide technical support for the installation.
Please note: There is no provider support
LSEG does not offer individual support via helpdesk for students using the database. Direct enquiries to LSEG support are not possible and will not be answered by the provider. If you have any questions, please contact your supervisor at the chair.
Please note: Your data (surname, first name, e-mail address in connection with the period of use of the access) will be stored for 12 months in order to be able to clarify any violations of the terms of use. Other user data will also be stored if you are enrolled or employed at the University of Würzburg.
