Teaching Hospital Departmental Library

In the departmental library, you will find specialist literature on clinical medicine. The entire departmental library collection can be searched via the catalogue.

The shelf marks of these items start with "325/" (Reading room) und "81/" (Medical textbook collection).

Against the background of the spread of the coronavirus, the University Library of Würzburg has implemented the specification of the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and Art. This measure is intended to protect users and staff and to slow down the spread of the coronavirus. We ask for your understanding for these measures in view of the current exceptional situation.

Departmental library closed to the public until further notice

The textbook collection of the Main Library is available for borrowing. Many books are also available as e-book versions via our catalogue.

Please use our acquisition suggestion form for further suggestions (print books for the Main Library or e-books).

Further information on the current situation

The departmental library is a reference library, which means that items can usually only be used on site. You can borrow literature relevant to your studies from the medical textbook collection in the Teaching Hospital departmental library.

You will find a large collection of study-relevant literature available for loan in the Hubland Main Library.

Study desks

A total of 280 study desks are available.

Facilities

Access to specialist databases for literature searches , internet access (via university network, not available to external users or students of the University of Applied Sciences), Wi-Fi, printing via Information Technology Centre account

Lockers

Lockers are available in the corridor (1 Euro / 2 Euro deposit). Please remember to empty your locker in the evening.
