Carrels

For users of the main library there are carrels for one or more persons in the reading rooms on the 1st and 2nd floor.

You can get and return the keys for the carrels at the loan desk. We book the keys to your library account.

It is not possible to make reservations or to have the carrels go unused for a longer period. Individuals have to clear rooms for group work if necessary. Please vacate the carrels when the library is closed and return the keys at the loan desk. You will receive overdue notices for which a fine is charged for keys you did not return.

Eating, drinking and smoking is prohibited in the carrels.
